Grissom to OU would be pretty disappointing -- again, mainly from just a pride/prestige factor of keeping the best KU players in state.

Don't expect a full list of coaches...or probably even confirmation until the 29th of December, but there are two names that have surfaced as coaches with some sort of validity.

Assistant Coaches: 12/16 Update
Here is a quick update on how the staff is filling out.
-While it appeared like David Beaty would continue to be with the Kansas football program, recent developments suggest that it is going to be a complete overhaul. There is no word yet as to whether Beaty is choosing to leave on his own or if it was Turner Gill's decision.
-Melvin Smith has gone from fringe candidate to strong candidate. There is a very good chance that Smith will follow Torbush to Kansas. The two have worked together virt… Continue

Assistant Coaches: What will the new staff look like?
Now that Gill is in place, one of the biggest questions that people are asking is what will his staff look like? You can do a Google search and get about a thousand different names that will pop up. I have checked for ties, availability, etc. and have come up with a bit of a short list.
