The changes on defense have definitely improved the overall athletic ability on that side of the ball. I see a lot more speed and love the way Smith plays the run from the safety position. We should get better and better each game.

- It's CW by the way...I grew up with the era of "Charles in Charge" and the Chuckie doll so those are out and my grandfather is Charlie. So I am CW.
Honestly, I don't know about Onyeali either...as far as where he will play. He is built like a NT has the pass rushing ability to play DE and is the right height to play ILB. His quandry is a lot like Jatashun Beachums...good player but no one knows where to play him.
If he ends up at KU, I think he plays either ILB (if he can develop more pass coverage skills) or as a DE/LB guy for pass rush situations. Everyone I have talked to about him says that he is a committed football player, keeps his nose clean, and pretty much lives in the gym. In my research I found several indications that people questioned him on his offer list because he just didn't pass the eye test. But he is legit. I just want the guy on the roster...lets figure out what to do with him later.
As far as his teammate goes, KU isn't (un)officially on his list yet, but it won't surprise me if the coaching staff isn't trying to get a 2-for-1 deal here. They have set up a lot of those this year.
Trayvon Henry has two teammates in the Class of 2011 that could be 4-Star caliber.
Jatashun Beachum has a teammate that is probably the best pass catching tight end in the country for 2011.
DJ Bashears (Class of 2009) was a solid pick-up, but getting him could mean getting Bud Sasser this year...and he looks like he could be the next Dez Briscoe but with better speed.
Willingham is already getting letters from USC, Texas, ND, etc. He may be a long shot, but picking up Onyeali may put KU into the hunt.
